Question about Exodus 33:20

So in Exodus 33:20 it says no man shall see God and live. I was talking about "Heaven is for Real" with a friend and they told me they don't think Colton is lying but he probably didn't see God because of that verse...

Can anybody explain that verse to me? I believe Colton but now I'm confused.

reply

You can be transfigured and made celestial in the presence of God, besides Colton was not in his body when he claimed to see God, he was in another dimension. It's impossible to see God as an earthly human while on earth without being transfigured for a short time or be in the spirit world.

Ahh, good point. Thanks!

could be they saw god the son, not god the father, the word always existed, when god talks with men in the bible it's god the Son, Jesus who was with god in the beginning, through him all things were made. The OT says no man has ever seen god and lived yet the OT has several cases of men talking to god and seeing god, it essentially proves that Jesus is what they were seeing, no man can see the father and live, Moses saw a burning bush not the true form of god, but abraham saw god and walked with him, the word/logos is christ, the NT completes and abolishes what appear to be contradictions in the OT that wouldn't make sense until a person realised that god has more than one form, one of which is so powerful that the body of man cannot withstand being in it's presence So/the word became flesh and dwelt among us, that word is god and was with god from the beginning but his form is bearable for human interaction then there's the Holy Ghost/Spirit which is the unseen, emotional essence of god which can move all men, the holy spirit is the formless version of god and to blaspheme against this is an even greater sin than to blaspheme against the other forms of God(the Father and the Son), God can forgive blasphemy against the Son or the Father but to Blaspheme the very spirit of the living God is the most grievous sin imaginable, One man might doubt the authority of a king or of his heir but to question the authority of the Office itself and the very purpose of government is a satanic, rebellious act, anyone with such a heart has placed their ego above nature itself and they become a threat to the rest of the natural order, they doomed to death, not just the death of their own body but of society as a whole with the viral dissent which their heart seeks to spread.

Wrong, "Jesus" never appears in the original biblical HEBREW books despite Christians trying to force him there.

Do pastors ever teach about biblical contradictions? How about the PAGAN origins of Christmas and Easter? What about how the Gospels Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John were written decades after the events happened by UNKNOWN authors and that the names were pulled out of the air by early pastors and that we have no idea who really wrote them?

Or how about how no one believed "Jesus" was God until after the original apostles died?

No? Your pastor never mentioned this? He / she learned all of this in seminary school though

God the son, God the Father, God the Spirit. There IS NO TRINITY this stuff was all made up after the fact.

There is only ONE GOD John 17:3 and "Jesus" is NOT him. And don't try to recant my verse with John 1:1 because the whole gospel called "John" is contradictory

Learn what a signature is. Youtube is not a source for my post. But while we're on the subject

1) sources can come from anywhere. Internet, books, word of mouth, art, and yes even youtube. To make a claim that you can't learn something from youtube because "it's youtube" is absurd. Youtube is full of information.

2) read writings from the earliest pastors. I've been doing this for 11 years.

3) read the gospels and letters themselves. There is no claim to being God. "Yet are Gods, yet are ALL SONS OF THE MOST HIGH" Those were regular men being called sons, adopted by God. "JESUS" WAS a 100% regular man ADOPTED by God at his baptism.

Why do you think he did not miracles until AFTER his baptism? Because for 30 years before then he was an average man

Don't believe what these brainwashed Christians will tell you. They'll make excuses all day. You are right, no one can see God and live. If anyone claimed to see God in Genesis through Malachi in the Bible it was because they saw an Angel which are also called "Sons of God" in Genesis and the book of Job.

Don't confuse "Sons of God" with "Jesus'" because they aren't the same. Ancient Jews associated Angels as God because angels existed before the world began, in fact angels were present when God was creating the world.

When God said "Let us create man in OUR image" He was speaking to Heavenly Hosts which were angels, not "Jesus" as brainwashed Christians believe
