There's a sub story to the main story.
Pseudo intellectual is upset that a girl he likes wants to be with someone he sees as "lower level". I've been there. It's a *beep* stance to have, and even *beep* to act on it in a vindictive way. I've kind of been there too.

Conclusion, cut your loses, wish everyone a good day AND MOVE THE *beep* ON.

the dude was a full grown adult and the chick not only was not only a teenager, but also one of his own students and he used the whole class to get some psychological revenge on her and her boyfriend. the teacher should have gone through with his suicide.
