Why were these kids getting so butt-hurt over things that were happening in a hypothetical situation?

Example: the girl that was an "orthopedic surgeon" who was subsequently potentially hit with an ebola virus and voted off the island...major wangst from her.

It goes towards their grades, if you're dealt a poor hand, you would want to defend yourself.

So this stupid game goes towards their final grade that is stupid that teacher would be struck off in a heartbeat, they clearly finished their dissertations and such, that what I didn't like about the film it was kinda pointless
