Subtly Beautiful Film
This film was on a local station in Chicago yesterday. I had never heard of it before and I can see by the lack of comments and reviews that not many people have heard of it either. That is really too bad. I didn't have any expectations when this film started. Honestly, I thought I would probably watch the first few minutes and then change the channel. The first scene of Anna eating caught my attention. I knew immediately from the way she ordered her food and the way she was eating she had a problem. As Anna's relationships with her husband and her family unfolded, I felt her pain. I am roughly her age and I know what it feels like to be lost. Maybe that's why I identified with her. I loved her relationship with Travis. It was beautiful and heartbreaking. The look on Anna's face in the ending scene took my breath away. I was very moved by this film and would recommend it to anyone.
