The idea for making the movie was inspired by an actual case of stalking. This story, as a whole, is fictional, although based on true accounts from numerous stalking victims.

Sadly in real life the victim this movie is partially based on was shot to death by her stalker. She tried to get a restraining order but the Judge did not allow it because he felt she did not have enough proof.... Beyond tragic.
