This movie presents a good reason to own and learn how to use a firearm. A knife is useless until it's almost too late to use it. The person would have to be within arms length and that's not good when the person intends to do you harm. Neither the cops or courts can be there all the time to protect you and a restraining order is only a piece of paper, not an impenetrable barrier.

Btw....she should have shot him when she had the opportunity. Some may fault, maybe even vilify, her for killing him but the blame would lay squarely on the legal system and his father.
