JeeJa

For those that may have seen this, how is JeeJa? I'm actually more excited about her in this than Tony and have been waiting for them to do a movie together since I first saw her in Chocolate. Does she have a big role? I've heard bad things about the movie, so I wanted to know if she at least has a decent role.

She is pretty good. Don't listen to people, watch it and judge for yourself. Jeeja had a good role, she had a good amount of fighting scene and kind of shows what's she is capable of. Would like to see her in more movies. Anyways, yeah Jeejaa was great to watch.

It's not great. She does what she can with the role, but her part in this largely to get her butt kicked and repeatedly need saving by Jaa. She has a couple of decent moments, but it's clear the writer/director wanted to ensure she always played second fiddle to Jaa.

Yup. Despite showcasing some nice moves and acrobatics, she gets her butt kicked up and down the entire movie. They even have her struggle with the generic henchmen and basically sideline her for almost the entire end sequence. Even when she finally gets her big victory, it's only after using the sedative dart to dramatically weaken her opponent(Whom Jaa already kicked the crap out of no less than 3 times prior to that).

That's really sad to hear because she kicks so much ass. I get that Jaa is the star, but it would have been so much better if she was his partner or something instead of someone who needs saving. Together, Jaa and Yanin would make a great team. Maybe they can do another movie together where that happens.

Whether she was pregnant at the time or not makes no difference. She clearly was able to handle the action at the time, and clearly able to get seemingly beaten up quite roughly through the movie. So there was no excuse with her not being able to defend herself better and beat up a few more guys. Not only that, but she had no lines to say. Nothing. Why couldn't they give her something to say so we could get to know her more, and Tony's character get to know her more, become friends and beat the *beep* out of everyone together? Poor.
