shareAfter Ong Bak 3 (I enjoyed 2) and this, I can say Tony has definitely lost it. I was genuinely feeling sorry for him while watching this. Who's decision was it to have so many terrible special effects added to the action? Ridiculous! It was almost like watching a cartoon!
He needs to watch The Raid and The Raid 2 to see how it should be done. Iko Uwais and Gareth Evans is a perfect partnership.
It's sad. Jaa had so much potential. I thought Ong Bak was excellent but I couldn't even make it through the second one and I hear the third is even worse. I didn't think the first Protector was very good but it was certainly better than the sequel. Forget the asinine story. The really bad CGI, lack of exciting fights & stunts, the Terminator villain and Leg Saber battle made this a crapsterpiece.
The Gizza was a lame bad guy. I don't know his music or other acting roles but I couldn't take him seriously in this. This movie might have been better if it wasn't supposed to be serious. The Crank director should've directed it.
