Why are people so adamant about hating this movie?

Look, no one was expecting this movie to be Citizen Kane. Take it for what it was. A fun, R-rated twist on the age old buddy cop genre. People are so quick to *beep* on it and say it was the worst movie ever. I feel bad for people that humorless, that lifeless, they can't laugh and enjoy some good humor and would rather take the time to piss and moan about it on a message board. I laughed my ass off in this movie and I'm damn glad I paid to see it.

I thought it was hilarious, but there are some people on these forums that are going out of their way to crap on this movie. I don't get it. It was funnier than most other comedies this year.

I thought it was much better than 22 Jump Street (or 21 for that matter). People just want to sound cool for hating it I guess

I saw the trailer for this and knew it was one I wanted to see - I liked the actors in it plus it looked like a slightly silly comedy which is the type I like, and usually have more laughs than other bigger comedies.

I watched it not really expecting that much, and it was much better than I thought it was going to be. The story was good and much different and better than I was expecting. And it made me laugh - which is the purpose of a comedy. Sure it might not be everyones type of movie or sense of humour, but I really liked it. And it was much better than lots of other bigger comedies this year.

Sex Tape was better than this and also very underrated, I thought it maybe would get a cult like following, but I guess not.

If your not living on the edge your taking up to much space!

The only good thing about Sextape was Rob Lowe's part. Next to Jack Black's part.

Nothing funny at all about the movie.

Sex Tape was awful. Jason Siegel has never been funny so I don't know why they keep forcing him on us. And Cameron Diaz is washed up.

I won't say Sex Tape was awful it was decent.
On the other hand Let's be cop's which I wasn't expecting much from (didn't even see the trailer) was pretty hilarious at times. I didn't come expecting a hilarious movie, and came out with a smile. It was a good comedy when as of lately I haven't seen any good comedies in a long time.

Coming from a Brony.. Wow.

Just wow. I will be watching this movie simply because a Brony bashed it. You guys should bash more things. I can use this is a tool to identify and rate different types of content.

I thought the film was hilarious; sort of 21 Jump Street in reverse. Not as good as 22, but better than a lot of the season's comedies (Neighbors, Sex Tape).

I wanted to hate this movie because the Wayans brothers have a negative stigma around them what with the Scary Movie franchise, but it turned out alright and at least 500% better than all of the Scary, Epic, whatever Movies combined.

Ah, well that makes sense of why I thought the guy was an irritating, effeminate rip off of Damon Wayans, (who I don't find funny).

The film had a couple of moments, but for me was mostly annoying, with the black guy saying 'no' to everything the white guy suggested, it got boring really quickly.

I thought the best character was the dreadlocked gang guy Pupa, he was funny.

One of those films where the trailer makes it look much better than it is, never mind.

Scary movie was hilarious. 1-2 and till Zuckerberg took over with the p-13 crap fest. And i wasn't aware they were involved in epic movie...

Think you hit the nail on the head with 'take it for what it was'. I sat back, turned my brain off and thoroughly enjoyed a bit of dumb humour. The whole auditorium was having a great laugh. Which was the purpose of the film. A film to relax with.
