Why did the red eye robots destroy her?

My theory (And it's the only one I have) is they were supposed to destory her. My guess is whoever built them didn't put in a self destruct mechanism. You notice at the end that there are at least four or five Rosas that all have been shot in the head.
Further evidence to prove this theory of mine is when her blood splashes on the ground, plant life begins growing and they don't seem surprised. I don't know the signifigance of the building but that seems to be where all previous versions have met their end, you notice that you don't see any flowers popping up elsewhere do you?
My best guess is they're supposed to destroy her to help spread the flowers around. Kinda gruesome but at least it's getting results. That's my theory anyway.
