Instead of writing the questions like "where is Stephanie" at the beginning of the movie, whey didn't he dust the box, the Super8 player, and the tape containers for fingerprints?!? Wouldn't that be an obvious step, because it's obvious someone related to the killing left the movies. This seems to never occur to him.
