There were English subtitles for the dialog in Afrikaans, but none for the English language dialog, and the enunciation and sound volume level wasn't clear enough to understand most of the English language dialog.

I watched it online and there were subtitles for the whole film.

I agree. Didn't help when they speak Afrikaans then switch to English half way through the sentence!
