i don't know i just remember hear about that this movie was original going to be a horror movie about a sub that encounters a creature from the ocean. it might of been something else.

shareThe main issue with Phantom is that it tries to mix a techno-political-thriller like "Red November" (Phantom, Dark Star, Russian tech vs. U.S. tech) with a supernatural-thriller like "Below" (visions, noises, the ending). So many plot twists are mentioend for just few ses/min each, making it an unnecessarily confusing film to follow. The only saving grace is the solid performance by all involved, and the good directing and soundtrack. After watching it for a second time, I actually quite like it and change my rating to 7. Plus it has Mulder!
