Funny, just watched Californication before this ...

There was David Duchovny, and I kept wondering who the other dude was that was shot towards the end. I knew I had seen his face before ... and it turns out he was in Californication as the Richard Bates guy ... the one with the mangina! Funny. They should get Ed Harris into Californication ... but he might steal the show from Duchovny.

This was not a bad movie ... didn't care much for the romantic ghost stuff at the end, but the plot was well done. Certainly not based on real events.

Yes, that was David's best friend Jason Beghe. There is no way that EH could steal the show from Duchovny. Duchovny is amazing as Hank.

I think EH is an amazing actor, but there is no way he could play the Hank character and be believable. He is just to old. David has just the right vibe for this part.
