She couldnt recognize her own dad??

How old was she when he left? From her painting of her dad, she pictured him clearly..the eyes and nose, everything was detailed.

So chuck had a beard.but you could clearly see his eyes and nose..he also had what seemed to be a Brazilian accent...also, she was searching in that area for him, so she must have suspected he was around somewhere the area.

Could she not put clues together? How many random men live out in the woods..she knew her dad was homeless.

How many homeless American men have dark skin and eyes and a foreign accent?

Also, what was up with the rape scenes?? They didnt fit in with anything going on in the movie at all. At first, I thought maybe trauma was the reason for her gypsy life and closed off personality, but those scenes didnt really mean anything.

Were they some sort of metaphor for her dad leaving???

I dont get it.
