What was with the fully clothed strippers?
What I found the most ridiculous was the strip club scene with incongruously overdressed strippers. I mean, this is an R-rated movie, not network TV. Even if the female writer-director didn’t want the film to be exploitative with full on nudity, she could have put them in pasties or G-strings so it seemed semi-realistic. Adam Scott gets a private lap dance from a stripper wearing what amounts to a skimpier than normal one-piece bathing suit! It wasn’t believable that any men would pay money for that.
