Anybody else think she was absolutely hilarious in this as the coke headed friend?
My two cents: By the way, I don't think the movie was made to be "like" Bridesmaids...I see the two movies very differently. They just both featured Bridesmaids during a Wedding.....Obviously marketing is going to compare the two.

I also agree that Isla Fisher is probably tied with Dunst for the best acting in the movie. In the scene where (________spoilers________) the guy doesn't have sex with her, she was brilliant!
Dunst does deserve a mention, indeed!
The whole nose bleeding on the dress was great
Near the end when she recovers from her OD and the guy is carrying her and Gena sees them, Isla makes the most hilarious facial expressions, I had to rewind it just to see it again.
shareShe was definitely the funniest one in the movie. I love when she exclaims, "It's beautiful!" two times while she's in the hotel pool as if she's in a tropical lake near a waterfall or something haha. When she stood up during the rehearsal dinner speeches to announce that she lost her phone, and her moment in the men's bathroom when another guy walked in were also priceless.

As much as I love Isla, and dislike her being typecast. She is really good at playing the airhead, naive, infectiously cute bombshell. She was the one making everyone laugh.

She brought a lot of pathos to the role, as well. My single favorite moment, though, might have been at the very end when she did the robot to I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles).

She definitely did a great job in this movie. Quite the comedienne without trying. Seeing her in this movie made me want to see Confessions of A Shopaholic again.
