A Movie About Disloyalty and Self Indulgence

Who thought a story about 3 best friends of a bride totally sabotaging her wedding would be humorous, dark or otherwise? These are 3 of the crappiest friends to go down in film history. Could they not put aside their personal problems for one day to make things special for their friend? There is nothing realistic about this film, and ruining someone's wedding is not dark comedy. And they probably all smelled bad after the night they had, drinking, coking, screwing, dancing at a strip club, and vomiting...yes, very funny...not. Adam Scott's character said it best: This isn't cute anymore.

There isn't anything worthwhile about this movie. The whole thing is a crapfest. I remain amazed any time I find someone actually thought it was entertaining or funny.

I completely agree! I found it so frustrating straight from the beginning when they found out that Rebel's character was getting married. It was all about "how could my fat friend be getting married before me!?!" Then when Isla's character is discovered to know how to sew, she decides to go and get completely wasted rather than fix her best friends dress. I think I was most upset about the end though, how the brides three closest friends chose not to stand next to their friend while she was getting married.

I get that this movie was supposed to be funny. But they wound up making it entirely unrealistic. I can't imagine how three people that selfish can possibly exist. I think I would have enjoyed this movie more if they made the friendships more realistic and avoided using as many hurtful jokes as they did.

i was left wondering how stupid and naive the bride was after knowing she had such terrible friends and she didn't seem to care. was she that hard up for friendship? i found that unrealistic. unless she ditched them after the wedding which would make sense for me

ladies jeez all you need to do is look at the poster and take a guess that it will be complete stupidity!

honestly I think Dunst made better films when she was a kid, like Vampire and Jumanji.
