Will there be a third season?

The way season 2 ended could be considered an ending to the series, but it does leave open the possibility of a third season, with a new guy added to the trio, but what would they do with Flynn?

Ignorance more frequently begets confidence than does knowledge.

The show was cancelled by the network on September 23rd. No third season.

A lot was wrong with season 2. It certainly didn't help that the campers of chunk house played almost no role whatsoever, which is rather shocking considering these people are supposed to be working at a camp. Then of course, there's the new camp owner that instead of breathing down everyone's neck and actually being utilized, appears only briefly then disappears until the last episode when she reappears, albeit briefly before taking an "I can't deal with this right now attitude" and disappearing again with a hint of "she will return" and "storm's a brewing". And let's not forget the gay guy that punches someone for calling him a fag, yet when a gay camper tells him some of the truly awful, spiteful (let's face it, fireable) things that were said to him by the new guidance counselor, he doesn't take any action beyond telling the kid "she's wrong"? Seriously? If I were a counselor and one of my kids told me that a member of staff said those kinds of things I would raise hell, and I am an extremely non-confrontational person. Yet instead the situation just fizzes out then and there with the camper like "I feel all better now" and the counselor apparently is like "Oh, that silly guidance counselor! There she goes again, telling people they'd be better off dead. Ha ha ha. That is just like her. What a lark!" ?

Wha???

Of course, when even that isn't the most confusing and nonsensical thing to happen, when a bunch of two line characters pop in and out of existence in quick succession, when come season end you think "what happened" as opposed to "now what"... well yeah. It means the show is in trouble. So I'm not particularly surprised either. It's a bit of a pity since the show had a certain amount of potential that it untapped, but there's plenty of fish in the sea.
