Boyfriends at sorority...What???

So they walk into a sorority and the first thing they see is a bunch of dudes in a separate room. I was very confused by this. Is it normal for women to invite strippers, while their boyfriends are having some beers in a separate room??

From the boyfriend or girl's point of view this simply made no sense to me. And I knew nothing good would come out of such a scenario.
