First look: Zombies invade Sudbury

Director and producer Casey Walker's A Little Bit Zombie is now into its third week of shooting in the shadow of The Big Nickle and he's released a first look with some photos from the set. Shawn Roberts (Resident Evil: Afterlife) stars as mild-mannered groom-to-be, who becomes infected by a zombie virus on a country weekend getaway. Crystal Lowe (Hot Tub Time Machine) plays his fiancee while Pontypool's Stephen McHattie plays Max, the dedicated zombie hunter. If it sounds a bit like Evil Dead The Musical, you're not far off. A Little Bit Zombie was co-written by Christopher Bond, one of the creators of the hit show. The movie is due in theatres next year.

I think you've got your cast a little mixed up: Shawn Roberts is playing the best friend, in his own words "basically the same character from Going the Distance." Where as Kristopher Turner is playing the groom-to-be/zombie-to-be.
