So it's okay for females to be violent?

Kesha is not a victim and didn't she push him first? I'm so confused, if Richard goes to jail then so should she! Domestic violence goes both ways, nobody has the right to hit anyone. Kesha should have been held accountable for actions too!

No, it most certainly is not. I am a female, so I'll put my spin on that story line. I must also start out by saying that I got my degree in domestic violence advocacy and so I know the signs. You are right in saying that Kesha isn't the victim. She is just as abusive. First thing that she did was try to break Rickard by taking everything away from him and then she kept poking him. I know that most people would say for Richard to walk away, but he tried that several times, but Kesha came at him time after time. I don't advocate men beating on women, but like I said, Kesha isn't innocent either and should also pay for actions. She is also an abuser.

I agree. I mean how many times you see women slap their boyfriends or husbands.

I only watch this show sporadically and have only seen a few episodes, including this season and last season but in every episode I've seen, this woman (Keisha) is doing something new to make this guy's (Richard) life a living hell. In the few episodes that I've caught, she's managed to portray herself as an innocent victim to whoever matters and has managed to take this guy's money and half of his share of his company. Then she shows up at his tv show/company whenever she wants so he has to not only put up with her making demands and changes, he has to look at her everyday as well. I recently saw an episode where he was practically begging her to lay off and cut him some slack with his finances because he was having a hard time financially taking care of himself and was even reduced to moving into his friend's house with him and his loud ass wife. So not only does he have the stress of dealing with working at his company and dealing with her everyday, he has absolutely nothing to show for it. This woman is doing nothing but terrorizing this poor guy and making his life miserable every chance she gets and he can't even get rid of her or see any end to her torment. I mean, dang...even murderers have an end to their sentence. The truly sad part is that he is doing nothing to deserve any of this but marry her manipulative and conniving ass and the only reason she's doing all of this is because she knows she can but he's in the wrong for finally being pushed to his limit and snapping on her twice by choking and slapping her ass? Hell, I commend him for taking as much as he did and not doing more than that to her. Then, instead of her learning her lesson and thanking her lucky stars that that's all he did to her ass, she runs off like a common rat to go somewhere to feel sorry for herself and talk about him like he drove himself to insanity. Don't get me wrong, I'm a woman and I do not believe in violence but I also do not believe in bullying and backing someone into a corner either. I mean on top of all of the stuff she's already doing to this man, she invites another man into his office for a date, when it's millions of other places she could have had this guy. Then she gets all in this man's face when he's already riled up and continues provoking him by trying to take his dignity and mugging him in the face and basically calling him a "bitch" in front of another man, who happens to be his employee. If that's not enough, he warned her more than once to get out of his face but instead of backing off, she calls his bluff and end up somewhere locked in a room begging for her life. The whole time that she was terrorizing this guy, they play that ridiculous laugh track in the background, when they should have played it after he slapped her heartless, lowdown ass halfway across the room because IMO, she completely asked for that and more.

i know i'm very late on this board but @born_tomorrow, i couldn't agree more with your post! also coming from a woman, i can't stand women like keisha that bullies a man over and over again and expects for him to never snap! i mean come on, give me a break, any human can only take so much before they lose it and i am also completely against domestic violence but the previous poster was completely right, it can go both ways and she should have been in the cell next to his!!

My mother raised two children, a boy and a girl.

She taught my brother to NEVER lay hands on a woman, no matter what.
At the same time, she taught me that if you ever slap a man, don't be surprised if he slaps you back.
A woman has no more right to hit a man, than a man has to hit a woman.
The saying goes, "Keep you hands to yourself." And it applies to EVERYBODY.
