Really Solid Thriller

I know the fact that Brad Jones is in it may speak negatively to some people because of his involvement with thatguywiththeglasses.com, but this is a pretty damn good thriller. It's a real movie, with some genuine creativity. This isn't a fan film with a long string on in-jokes, it's a low budget indie thriller that just happens to star an internet comedian.

I never heard of this Brad Jones clown, but with an acting filmography in which wholly 50% [7 of 14, if it's not worth looking up] of his roles were named "cinema snob", I'd really be interested in his own impartial, honest evaluation of this train wreck.

The Cinema Snob is a fictitious character he plays where be pokes fun at pretentious movie snobs who over analyze and nitpick horror and exploitation films. So, basically, he's a satire of most of the people on this message board.

What I'm curious to know is how people who've never even heard of Brad Jones before managed to not only find out about this movie but actually go out of their way to watch it, and what made them want to do so in the first place?

Apologies to the Brad Jones fan club, but my decision to watch this mess was based on the title and description, and had nothing (collective gasp!) to do with the cast or crew.

So then, how did you hear about this movie? How did you see it? As far as I know the only way to watch this is to purchase it directly from the source, not something that I'd go out of my way to do if I was completely unfamiliar with the product. Not that any of this really matters, just curious.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't see a lot of overanalyzing and nitpicking for this title- the comments have been rather broad strokes.

Solid as a wet cardboard box!
Bad acting, worse writing. When you see crap like this, you assume the writers have never written anything before.

This movie sucks.

You've been warned.

The premise isn’t bad, but the writing and the acting are unbelievably atrocious.

Not to mention the techniques of film making being done by amateurs make it difficult to watch.

First quote is from this thread, remainder are from the other discussion about this title. Not a whole lot of overanalyzing going on here, friend.

I haven't been able to get my hands on this movie so i dont know how it is. If you're a guy who loves thrillers and is a fan of Brad and doesn't mind an amateurish feel... or if i enjoyed Hooker with a Heart of Gold and Midnight Heat would you think i would like this movie?

If you're a fan of the guy and you know what you're in for then there's no reason you won't enjoy it.

This was actually one of Brads first scripts, he put it aside because he didn't like it. One of his friends who wanted to direct a movie used it with some changes.

Anyone who goes into this expecting a great A class movie is going to be disappointed, I watched it expecting it to be an enjoyable B grade thriller and that's what I got.
