During the scene with the naro in her room, a close-up of her lower back showed she had some scars. I don't remember anything in the movie that implies she had veen abused prior to the massacre, but on the other hand, if they weren't meant to be seen, we wouldn't have seen them.

Later she was thrown into a truck and some big guys pushed her to the floor. Finally she was tackled to the ground by a policeman.
