Did anyone else get angry when...

... BÉATRICE had the baby and THEN called JACKY? I would understand it if she did that because she was still mad at him, but based on the conversation on the phone and the conversation at the hospital, she wasn't mad anymore. So why did she do that? And why didn't her parents call him?

This may seem like a small detail, but I'm a man and I would hate it if that ever happens to me.

She called him when she went into labor. The night before when she went into labor she called him, but he was sound asleep and didn't hear it. The cell phone falls on the floor.
