Actually there are financial institutions that allow you you to self finance yourself, you basically make loans to yourself, the financial institution doesn't lend you any money. Some financial institutions call it infinite banking or becoming your own banker.

Besides they're paid something to do these reality series, which are still cheaper to do than scripted series since they can air them all the time without having to pay the people in them residuals, unlike actors and writers who by SAG and SWG guild have to be paid a residual every time an episode airs..
Movies will make you famous; Television will make you rich; But theatre will make you good.
