Any other books or podcasts or tv specials or interviews or videos of any sort that feature comedians talking about comedy and/or the art of stand up comedy like this one did? I listen to Marc Maron's WTF podcast and it's great. I just can't get enough of stuff like this. It shoulda been a running series!
shareI am the same way. I could be addicted to this stuff. I am assuming you watched The Green Room w/Paul Provenza. So great. I tweeted him and he said he was working on something similar right now :) I also listen to WTF. Also, You Made it Weird and The Nerdist are great podcasts. And also documentaries about comedians such as A Piece of Work, American: Bill Hicks Story, Sleep Walk with Me and others. But I would really like to find more. I really miss The Green Room.

@paguy27 Definitely check out Seinfeld's Comedian (2002) - I remember a lot of people hated it because they were expecting it to be a comedy, when it is really a documentary about stand-up. It's just what you're looking for.
share@paguy27 Also: Steve Martin's book Born Standing Up. I haven't read all of it yet, but there's plenty of interesting stuff about comedy and life on the road. For example, how some talk-show hosts didn't understand comedy, so they'd screw up his interview bits.
