No Bartman...no story...
How do you put together a documentary without the cooperation of the main subject? What a waste of two hours.

Somewhat accurate, but I enjoyed it either way. An interview with Steve Bartman would have been very much appreciated. He needs to tell the world his side, because with him hiding out it just makes him look moreso in the wrong and more guilty than ever before.
Someone really needs to talk to him:
Steve. Its been 12 years. Stop wasting your life in your basement, get your family out of Chicago, and start living again. You did what anyone would do if a baseball was coming towards them, except you did it when the Cubs had a chance at winning. So it's a double whammy, big deal, be a man and deal with it. Get outside and live.
He's not guilty of anything. He's scared for his life and doesn't want to be any more of a pariah.

Steve needs to get on national TV: FOX News Channel, CNN, MSNBC, and ESPN, all with an interview explaining his side of what happened. This hasn't been done yet. Once he does that, a vast majority will forgive him, guaranteed.
Also, he needs to publicly acknowledge and thank Ben Braun, who was sitting behind him, who essentially saved Bartman's life when he noticed things getting out of hand and called security, who in turn escorted Bartman out of Wrigley Field. share

No he doesn't. We all saw what happened. It was a mistake (that many other people were trying to make). Any person with an IQ over 75 should be fine with it and move on.

I like how you assume he lives in a basement just b/c he was nerdy looking.
This kind of goes with what I've thought all along. If Bartman was a body builder we wouldn't even know his name right now b/c no one would have messed with him. They figured since he was a little nerdy guy they he wouldn't fight back. That's what bullies do they mess with people who they don't perceive as threats.
So if anything I'd say you all owe him a public apology. share
