Sounds interesting but low rating...

There is nothing wrong with the movie to me. I saw it last night and was pleasantly surprised. While its not "Emmy award winning", its a great Indie flick. A simple story that shows a different side of life.

I see the 4.5 rating and laugh although my personal opinion could be bias because I am from Baltimore where the movie was filmed. I consider myself a pretty good critic though so I must say from an outside stand point it can come off as very simple made movie with plot holes in it but coming from someone born and raised in Baltimore city this is a true to life movie that could have been told thru the eyes of
a lot of our inner city youth here so this to me was a good yet mild portrayal of any number of ppl. I personally know so to me it was good.

Me and my wife watched it earlier today. Gotta say I was amazed. Ive never been a fan of indie movies either. Lots of people just rate it low just because, dont let that deter you

I know I'm 3 years late to this discussion but I like watching BS indie films while I'm drinking liquor lol but this is one of the few that grabbed me. I really relate to this film. When I was a kid, one of my oldest brothers use to gang bang here in LA. I remember a day he wanted to spend time with me and took me around showing me his true colors. In one day I saw threats, fought some dude, picked up other gang banger friends and all drinking liquor and smoking weed in the car, told me uneasy stories that made me cry for his safety. He currently has 2 strikes. It's amazing though to see how much he changed from then to now. I love him very much..he's my brother.
