Saw this in my film class and thought it was brilliant!

My teacher chose this French short as teaching material. The end was ended abruptly with a special intention, for uncareful viewers like myself, you might not fully get the ending. I recommend everyone rewatch the beginning up to the title sequence, pay attention especially to the title sequence, and you will realise the brilliancy of the short--the opening scene shows an old man sitting, which, when you rewatch, will know that the old man had actually already been murdered by his wife. Viewers will not notice/pay attention to the old man when they first watch it. When you rewatch, the 'click' sound in the title sequence was actually the click of a nail gun, and it is apparent now that the young man is killed by the woman, which was not depicted at the ending.
