Spoiler re Brad Bradley

Towards the end, the DA includes the murder of Brad Bradley in the charges.

The last time I recall seeing Brad was putting Bobby to sleep outside Steve Worthy's house. Are we to assume that when Bobby went back to Hollywood, he tried again to get the screenplay to Steve, Brad again stops him, but this time Bobby kills him?

And now I see the original title included the words 'Two Brads'. Why? Was there an edit so drastic that, not only did it raise a serious plot question, it meant the title also had to be changed?
