Why didn't they test for gun shot residue on the girl and Jake... if they are the primary suspects and they already have reasonable doubt, the fight of the girl with the guy in school and him claiming she framed him... or that Jake had a fight with him earlier on that day...

Why couldn't they just do the gun shot residue test, since it would've been quickly determined that she shot him. Isn't what I mentioned earlier enough evidence to support further testing, they received a warrant for the guy, why not the girl?

This whole story was ridiculous and stupid. A straight A "geek" is just going to calmly have sex for the first time? If my child was killed I'd be crazy crying and upset yet this character was calm, unemotional and solved the case!!!!!!'m. When the psycho is brandishing the gun they stand around and no one even tries to call 91. I had to turn it off after fast forwarding to the end. Dumb
