Is anyone else pissed with the ending?

*SPOILERS*

I watched this movie today and I couldn't help but screaming at the screen at the very end. I mean, how is it possible that after that douchey guy threw Jasna onto the floor and started hitting her (and breaking her nose) she just gets up and calmly kisses him and live happily ever after? They weren't even dating in the first place! Perhaps I didn't understand the message, but the ending leaves a lot of questions unanswered and a lot of unhappy watchers.

The "ending" was just a weak attempt to legitimize this porn film, and make it look like "an art film with a message." What I got from this film is that people in Serbia are so desperate for money that they will prostitute their own children to get it. At least the equally nauseating "Srpski Film" didn't include cum shots and real erections and underage sex; it at least simulated THAT stuff. This film didn't even bother to fake it.

Wait a second... I hated this movie, I thought the story had potential, but it all turned into porn and nothing more than that. But how the hell did you conclude that Jasna's parents prostituted her for money?! Where did you see that? Also, if you read the trivia part on IMDB, you will see that it was all fake, fake penises, fake sex, body doubles, etc.

So what if the body parts were fake? If it looks like cheap porn, then it IS cheap porn..and the fact that it's fake makes it a failure as porn.

I completely agree with you that it is just porn, cheap porn, it had no depth, no point, one of the worst movies ever made... But I'm just saying that the actors weren't forced to do anything illegal, being minors and all, instead there were doubles, fake prostethics, etc.

calmly kisses him and live happily ever after?

If you interpreted the kiss as “calm” or an indication of a happily ever after ending I don’t know what to tell you...

It was such a bleak ending. It showed that despite everything Jasna was still desperate to hold on to the one “good” thing in her life, a guy who couldn’t comfort her when he found out her father was dying, who treated her like *beep* after she opened up to him emotionally and told him she loved him and who punched her the second she tried to “move on”.

She may have temporarily gotten the guy she wanted back, but he would never truly be who she needed or wanted him to be.

Being a Macedonian and having similar culture as the Serbians. I could tell you that, that is a common thing here... I have seen it happen at least, i do not approve things like that. (there are few subcultures here so this is more or less connected to that main turbofolk subculture, even you can notice it rarely in different subcultures)
The girl is clearly into that boy. Not that he is being great guy or anything, but to get away from what happens at her home. She is being treated bad by him because he doesn't care about her and she lets him do that. There are some emotional moments between the two of them, and you can see that whenever the guy gets emotional he tries to cover it and leaves. Its typical thing here for a guy to cover his emotions and not act emphatic. Although he is being such a douchebag she falls in love and tries to get his attention by going with another guy. If he didn't care about her he wouldn't even bother about that. But he is hurt, and as he is not used with embracing emotions he doesn't know how to handle it and beats her. He knows why she is doing that and she knows why is he beating her. She is accepting that she made provocations and goes with him at the end.
At the other hand it is showing that she is weak and fragile and cant move on because he is her only trip from the her personal life. He is actually a good guy but the pressures of his friends and of society makes him do things like that.
It is common for highschool kids to do that because they like to be accepted with their highschool peers. If you disagree and try to live more peaceful life you will be outcast and bullied, so they embrace being the top of the chain instead the outcasts.
I'm writing this as one of those outcasts who was observing this and was trying to understand why is that like that.

Finally somebody got what is this film about. I'dot think you have to be Serbian or Macedonian to get that, just smart and analitycal. Thank you for that.

So he beats her because he cares about her ..? And a million battered silently scream.

The film is about how youth nowadays, because of mass media and the American way of life, is turning their crappy lives into cheap attempts to be a porn. Just like Paris Hilton and las Kardashians. And the end is because this is the way prostitutes start their careers, meeting the *beep* who would become into their pimps and will do anything for them because of the wonders and miracles of love. This is the way we have been brainwashed and it is lame.

It's a movie on how messed up everything is and there is neither "getting better", nor "lived happily ever after" in the plot.
