What is so shocking?

Can somebody pls tell me which part of this girl's life is shocking? Ok, she is filming herself constantly-not shocking. She is having sex-not shocking. She is having sex in all kind of poses- nah! Guy is a little bit older (i would say-her age). He does fools her around, but girls her age tend to be, i wouldnt say stupid, but used. Especially when there is a that first boy that we adore! So what then?

reply

I agree, it's not shocking, it's just boring as hell. If not of those controversial sex scenes, hardly anything could be said about this wannabe art movie...

reply

I think it is shocking. When I was a teenager I used to read books, watch TV, play computer games, sometimes drink alcohol but I cannot recall any of such scenes as depicted in the movie. It is difficult for me to understand the reason of this downfall of the youth.

reply

The girl was 14 years old when this movie was shot. How´s that for shocking?

reply

I think she was fifteen then, but nowadays girls that young are behaving like it's described in this movie, if not even worse, and even younger. The greatest fault of this film, IMHO, are not those "shocking" scenes (for someone not living in today's Serbia) of minor sex, but total lack of any coherent story in it. Maja Milos, sadly, is just another wannabe "art" director, whose only "talent" is (unsuccesfuly) trying to shock the audience with some explicitly shown minor sex...

reply

I am a 22 year old guy. I know how young people in my country behave. I know how they speak, what they do for fun, I know becuse I used to do most of it and I still do some of it.

That said, If I ever saw anyone in my vicinity acting like the kids in this movie... I would get seriously worried. For their mental health, for their family and life at home and for my society in general.

However, I belive that standards in Serbia are much diffrent, with them being much more direct and without taboos. I read somewhere that avarage age in which young people in Serbia start sexual activities is 13 years old, which I find kinda wrong. However, there is always diffrence in standards, so what may be wrong for the normal world might be right in Serbia and the other way around.

You serious? Shouldn't the film makers be in prison for that? What the heck is going on in Serbia to allow a 14 year old give a real blow job in a movie?

Sorry but that IS shocking and NOT in a good way!

Fuqed up!!

reply

the film makers won't go to prison as the age of consent in Serbia is 14 so this film is legal in Serbia at least but still shocking.

reply

The girls parents gave consent and were at the film shoots the whole time. Most importantly, the explicit stuff was a body double. I've read articles and interviews with the film makers.

reply

Don't ascribe your boringass teenage years with everyone else's. Some of us had fun and are glad there weren't digital cameras back then. ;-)

reply

yup, it is rather boring.

worrying and even shocking, sure, but mostly boring, and that makes it a bad movie.

reply

I think that is shocking the total girl's indifference about her father dying and her mother and her family suffering. She is totally selfish, stupid, boring, sad. A very repulsive character.

reply

She isn't indifferent about her father dying. She can't deal with that fact and she uses hardcore sexual activity to numb the pain. It's the reason why she can't just sit down and study-thoughts of her father coming up.

That's just how I saw it.

reply

I think the "shocking" aspect comes from seeing a 14 year old girl spreading her vag and recieving sperm...ON FILM. It's also shocking that so many "normal looking" people were involved in the making of this film. And it's "shocking" that nobody was arrested for making this garbage. And finally, it is shocking that people were actually duped into buying this cheap pornography as "art." Yeah, i was kind of shocked...I didn't know Serbian people pimped out their own children.. I thought that only happened in places like Cambodia and Liberia.

"IMdB; where 14 year olds can act like jaded 40 year old critics...'

reply

The version I saw stated clearly at the end (as part of the closing credits) that minors were not involved in the explicit scenes. I'm not aware of interviews from anyone involved in the production that contradict the fact that adult body doubles were used for moments such as the one you described.

reply

The shocking thing about such contemporary behavior is that you teenagers don't find these things to be shocking.
"Clip" is not only about having sex at 14 or drugs, it's about moral collapse of society and the individuals. These teenagers are people of tomorrow - the people who are unable to love, to commit, to be responsible or even honest and caring humans. They hit one another with a bottle in the head for no obvious reason. The music in this movie is the soundtrack of its time. Think about the emptiness of your own, and try to read some books instead of watching TV reality shows. Think about your vocabular or intellectual level. Is rolling in the mud of mediocrity with other subhumans really that awesome?

reply

Aren't laws just subjective concepts created by man and for man and don't they have anymore real basis of reality?

And are you saying that if there were NO laws with people aged 14 having real sex in movies, you would be totally fine with it and not consider it immoral?

reply

These law-related movies arguments I myself find SO boring and cliched, and what's even worse - there are actually people who believe that the ONLY reason it is all bad is because people from higher authorities have established it to be that way, like, if no law on it ever existed - no problem!

And people even DIVIDE into different nationalities and laws that are different in each country and whatnot!

Aren't we all HUMAN BEINGS? And shouldn't laws, including sexual material in movies, be the same on it EVERYWHERE?

In the MOVIE the "ATM" scene is pretty unbelievable, but not all that shocking. I think the filmmakers are confusing teen girls with low self-esteem and porno actresses who are getting well paid to act out especially disgusting male fantasies.

As for the CIRCUMSTANCES behind the movie, the fact that the lead actress used a body double for the graphic sex scenes and possibly all the nude scenes does not explain how the movie could possibly be legal in the English-speaking world IF the actress was genuinely underage. I'm pretty sure it's illegal in the US to have an actual underage girl writhing around in her thong underwear and simulating sex acts(even if she uses a body double for some scenes). If it weren't, there would no doubt be an entire fetish porn genre devoted to this kind of "hardly legal" porn. I also know that it definitely is illegal to edit in scenes of an ACTUAL underage girl with pornographic footage. That law tripped up the 1990's version of "Lolita", which was much tamer (and quite a bit more classy) than this.

You can assume that Serbian filmmakers were stupid enough in the first place to use an underage girl who looks much more mature than she is as opposed to an older, "legal" actress who looks younger. You then have to assume legitimate American companies like Netflix and Amazon were dumb enough to distribute a movie that could easily be adjudicated as child pornography. So what's the alternate hypothesis. Simple. It is just an internet rumor that the actress was underage, no doubt brought on by the fact that she uses a body double, which even most ADULT actresses would in a movie this graphic. I'm going with the latter theory.

Second stupid post on this board. If you're a girl then you are stupid because you are stupid. Not because you're a girl. If you want to be used then it's because you have f/cked up self-esteem. Not because you're a girl.
