I totally agree with some of the ppl who hv reviewed this movie....How can someone who has given us Love exposure, Cold fish, suicide club etc. make something like "Himizu " is beyond me too......Its a sheer waste of time people.....Please dont watch it !!
shareno no no,,, people don't listen to this person. like many Sion Sono films Himizu is a cult film that has its own audience !! I gave it a 10\10 and it is one of my favorite films. give it a shot, pleaseeee, it is heinously underrated !!

I never managed to completely like the other titles you mentioned. They have too many flaws. But I liked Himizu a lot. It was very well written. I particularly liked this quote: "Should I just go along with something I don't believe in? Abandon myself to survive? Is my objective to live long?"
It was nicely filmed too. Very beautiful photography.
Love Exposure is one of my all time favourite movies and I like Himizu... so yeah. It's funny how posts like these never elaborate on why it's a bad film. Can you tell us why it you don't like it or are you just trolling?
