Low budget, sure, but it was ok. I really think people expect too much. Story was fairly good. I don't know the history well enough to judge, but the basics were there.

I'm happy enough with my rental $ :)

Not a bad film at all, and I've only seen half. Waaay better than the bloated and stupid "Gods of Egypt" or "Exodus: Gods n Kings". This film's shortcoming is the rather primitive battle explosion FX, but the flying cannonballs are neat.
