Long way to be Hollywood

Not the first example outside the Hollywood to make something like Hollywood.
And almost all of them fail, including this one. Something in the storytelling, something in the macro thinking, about themes and the purpose.
And please don't bring up the budget, all the weak points in this movie are not related to the budget. And if they could get such fancy cars, they could invest something in the action, especially when computer effects are so cheap right now.
No, the problem is with screenplay, with lazy or maybe incapable writers.
