Season one was pretty excellent with some real high points.
Season two has been really boring sludge, a chore to get through.
I wish I hadn't wasted my time on it.
I get the feeling it wasn't even written by the same people?
And what the hell was the point of the black power, white man bad episode?
It really had nothing to do with anything.
There was a MASSIVE ship-jump by the staff after Season 1. I think Season 2 was written by Siri.
Mad Sweeney, the only engaging character this shipwreck had, died, and then literally nothing else happened, except for “war is coming,” “how the FUCK is this [New Media actress vs. Media ship-jumped actress] an Upgrade?” Literally nothing. Eight hours of nothing.
But the network still did not pick up Counterpart.
Filler. The show had massive turnover and so they let Bloom write an episode for himself because they didn't have enough content for the season. At least that's the rumor Mill.
shareI agree, I just started to watch season 2 and I had a hard time watching episode 1 and 2 and when I got the 3rd one I just stopped watching it almost 10 minutes into it, it's just feels like a waste of time. I also can't stand this actress "Emily Browning" who plays laura Moon, she can't act to save her life. She has a weird look and her expressions are always repeated like a robot, she has a big head and with that mop she calls hair and I thought it was only because of her being dead on this show to make her look like that, then I saw her in "The Affair" and she looked the same and as annoying as she is in this show. This is why shows like this go down the drain, its not just story but the casting bad actors.
