Not an excellent British zombie film

The rating is 4.8. That's way too high. 2 or 3 out of 10 is about right. And does something this cheap and boring really need to be 2 hours long? The acting's sub par. The plot is ridiculous.
Kudos to the person who did the cover art, even though it's misleading, as it gives the impression it's a well made film with a good budget (also, take Romero's name off the cover, it doesn't belong there).
I found it funny that they just had to leave their house to go to the school, even though they'd just spent the night in the house with no incident.
There's no tension or suspense, even when the zombies show up.
The gore, which is a mix of CGI and practical, is effective for the most part. Have people forgotten that zombies are supposed to be dead, and therefore shouldn't be running around like they're on drugs.
I managed to watch the whole thing after stopping 3 times because it's so damned boring.
As a film school project it's pretty good, but as a full price DVD released to the public, it's bad.
My only question is who was the guy at the end?

Good point. But if the choice was risking my life or staying another minute in that school with those people, I know which one I'd take :)
