why does everyone hate this show?!

I don't exactly love it, but I like it a lot. TPS took some time to get into, once the characters started showing some more personality (Horace particularly) and actual expressions for once. While the designs may still be a little iffy, it's enjoyably silly, love the cereal wars episode.

I'm glad the tiny fanbase has somehow been enough to renew for a second season.

I think people hate it because it's a paperrad cartoon. Either you are in on it, or you're not and you hate it, but I'd say it's a pretty good quality show. I like it a lot (of course I also like paperrad). In a way, I think it's a bit misplaced, I think adults probably (or adult swim viewers I mean) would have appreciated this show more than kids... but we'll see as it seems people are starting to get use to it's style.

I had the same thought, I mean a 2.6????!!!!!? Ridiculous.
The first time I watched the show I felt like I was going to break into a seizure, but then I got used to it and started to love it.

There's nothing wrong with a show being weird. Except Cartoon Network current original programming seems to revolve around weird. In PS' case, stoner weird. It's amazing no one's started convulsing from watching this show. It's not charmingly weird like Adventure Time, it's unusual for the sake it, turning it up to 13. The art's obnoxiously crude, bright, etc - that's the main issue with the show. The look of the show can only be summed up as ugly and unappealing.

I don't hate it nor like it. They don't have to be so damn lazy.

I think this show is hilarious first of all, but also severely under-appreciated for how much work each episode must take to make. It's very busy, so I can understand how some people might not be able to handle it's awesomeness... suckers.
