Will there be an official English release?

I've heard rumors that the Gyakuten Saiban movie will be released in North America with English subtitles, but nothing very solid. Will the movie be officially released in English in theaters and/or on DVD? And, if so, does anyone have any dates or estimates as to when?

Based on most sites it says it should be released in June.

I hope so. Sounds like the people who have already seen it say its promising and I think Takashi Miike is usually brilliant, even with his lesser violent stuff, so I'll definitely keep my eye out for it.

The movie was screened last month at the NY Asian Film Festival...and won the Audience Award! NOW I wonder if there'll be a Region 1 DVD?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i will surely be released, most of Miike's film are available here and the movie has been screening in many festivals with English sub (saw it yesterday), it shouldnt be a problem.

At least in Australia, there WILL be a dvd release. It's been picked up by Madman Entertainment.

We can only hope. Personally, I'm curious to see a dubbed version sometime in the future.

Its been two years since the movie was released does anybody know yet whether or not this will be released here in america? Or if it already has been and i just missed it?
