Furnishings???

I wonder....

When Scott comes in and gives the homeowner a price, is he including all those furnishings that wind up in the finished rooms?

Sometimes, there are thousands of dollars in furnishings when he shows them the finished product. They are not Wal-Mart products...they look pretty high end. Things from sofas to beds to lamps to the smallest things like candles...they totally furnish these rooms.

Is this stuff included in his price, or do they just "stage" the rooms to show the owners what it COULD look like? I just wonder if they get to keep all that stuff....

that is staging
he has mentioned in a few shows that we need to take pictures for the listings while the apartment is staged

I would say most if not all the furniture is just rented, so basically the place is staged for the reveal. It's the reason why Scott jokes to take pictures for putting the place up to rent - before the furniture is returned.
