The Robbery

I enjoyed this movie..and like many of the characters in the movie was drawn to Duke Donovan...but I could not get over the question if he was or was not a guy who was forced into the robbery or a major player in it..Because if he was a major player, the robbery and its aftermath was so heinous, I could not forgive Duke...what are your thoughts?
