Madsen, It really is okay to turn down roles.

No really. You don't have to accept every single script that reaches you.

not it's not this film was one of his worst. but NOT his worst. i've seen him do great performance no matter who makes it. & REAL REAL REAL BAD ONES as well.

so he doesn't always give a great performance. at least not in some of the films i've seen him in. "Dennis Hopper' i've also seen him do bad acting in some films as well & he's a legend for gods sake.

low budget or box office it's still a paycheck at the end of it. I just wish he said no to taking part in the celebrity big brother.

I once heard and interview with Treat Williams where he was asked why he takes some roles in B-Movies and he said that he asked his father once whether he should be doing roles like those and his father replied,"Cash the check son, cash the check." So my guess is Michael Madsen is just "cashing his checks".
