What a typically ridiculous Hollywood movie bunk!

This was a blatantly racist movie against Native Americans! They used mostly Mexican-Americans as the natives, gave them obviously WRONG period costumes, gave them WRONG weapons, and showed how a typically period US ARMY officer would NOT look. The movie was generally BAD.

The officer is better at using a tomahawk then a well-trained brave? Why didn't the brave just use his knife? The captain lost his tomahawk at first and then was using his fists. The brave did not prevail with those odds?

Where did the natives get Colt revolvers (new ones too)? The Winchesters or Henry's were bad enough - but plausible if they were stolen. No war could be fought with them as they did not have ammo dumps setup and no one would sell them bullets EASILY. It was a capital offense to sell them arms.

The tactics were simply retarded. In the end there where 6 or more natives killed and not one white-eye was smitten. And what's with the Mandan head-dress on that so-called chief? Why would they be just killing each other like the whites without a parley or pow-wow (conference) first?

Who is the BLACK CLAW tribe? I might have seen Comanche, Mandan, and Apache all mixed together and not one of them were identified as such (I think). Also those nations are not in the same geography together. Did any of them speak at least Algonkian (aka Algonquin) as Hollywood likes to do even with Lakota Nation (aka Sioux)?

Didn't Adam Sandler learn a lesson on how NOT to exploit Native Americans in Hollywood movies recently?
