Made no sense *spoilers*

*spoilers* major uckfin spoilers! *spoilers*

why did the woman behind the bar wait until the argumentative chick pointed the gun at her before she blasted with her shotty? why did behind the bar woman feel the need to start shootin' 'em anyway? right?

and why did shifty eyed trucker dude empty his whole clip into vampire girl while ignoring blonde grrl?

dude, cap the vampire, drop and do a shoulder roll, then cap the blonde grrl!

done. DONE.

oh no, instead, shifty-eyed trucker spends his time blasting away at vampire, hitting her just about every shot (if we are to believe the squibs). he was obviously a crack shot.

and why did short order cook guy come wandering out with his shotty after a massive fire-fight with most folk dead and just point it at blonde grrl asking her to drop her gun?

oh, now they want to be slow on the trigger!?! ffs!

dude, either sneak out from the kitchen and shoot her in the back of the head (or wherever), or, OR!, just stay the UCKF out of sight and wait for another opportunity to shoot her. jeezus.

i mean she was standing around slack-jawed and wide-eyed in the middle of the diner, easy pickins for a suss short order cook with a shotty. c'mon!

sense? there was none.

contrived nonsense that played like a film school project.

Completely agree. Waste of an hour and a half of my life.

Totally agree......far too many "Why didn't they moments" in the movie

The worst one for me was that the guy with the shotgun had the huge advantage of surprise........and given that it was his "job" all along to shoot all 3 young girls.......why didn't he sneek up behind the bar and shoot the blonde whilst she was distracted.

Then there was Forest Whitaker's character.......no one noticed him enter the cafe until he started shooting the 2 other diners........now he could have easily shot the guy behind the bar with shotgun first......and then had all the time in the world to explain things to blondie.

And then there was the scene when Bruce Willis walks in.......hmmm Forest Whitaker
knew he was going to walk in so why did he not try to ambush Willis instead of waiting fir Willis to shoot him.

Of course........the answer is that they couldn't have made this movie if the the movie played out logically........but essentially it points to a poor story that wasn't thought through at all.

ha!

the old 'Pulp Fiction is rife with unlikely situations and outcomes' argument. good one. a derivation of the oldie but goodie 'but they did it, too' defense employed by children and politicians globally.

luckily Pulp Fiction had great dialogue, characters and.. Uma Thurman.

meanwhile, .44 got nothin.

Unless you're the one who wrote the script you should have explain all this to the scriptwriter. The way you take this stuff so seriously is surely more amazing than the film itself.

amazing!

textbook 'this isn't important enough to post about' post. why bother.

uckf this film. i'm getting my entertainment out of it by hating with the hateness. for this, only, i can be grateful to the makers.

Not to mention the cop not noticing Whitaker had a gun in his belt even though he was standing behind him.

1. I would guess she may own the place and thought it was a robbery or wanted to protect herself and *beep* happened too fast

2. trucker was stupid

3.This made no sense I guess he wanted a Tarrinttinoish mexican stand off once in his life

My question is why would Bruce Willis not shoot Ronny asap and leave?

What was the money for?

What happened w/ the 1st job and what did Ronny do to mess it up?

Why did he kill the cop and pull them over?

What didn't make any sence at all to me is, Forest Whitaker's character has been secretely watching over the blonde character for a long period of time. He's been protecting her and keeping her out of trouble.

He's watching over her this entire time while this gun fight is going on? She could of easily been killed here. Like the OP pointed out, if the lady behind the bar just shoots the blonde first, or the grill cook who was super slow to come out from the back with a shotgun decides to just shoot her, instead of having a stand-off, it's all over.

When Forest Whitaker's character finally comes into the building, it's like he knew she'd be OK in that random shoot out? Bullet's flying everywhere in that shootout, she could of easily died. If you truly loved someone and been protecting her all this time, would you just sit back and let that gun fight go on, or would you intervine. Seriously, what point was he waiting to jump in at?

I also didn't like that she was the one to survive. She put the other girls in all this danger, even though one of the girls kept saying she felt like something was up, we shouldn't do this, she felt like ther was going to be an ambush. She just ignored her friends warning. She was so dumb and put everybody in harms way, and yet she's the one that comes through this whole thing.

These are not just an implausibilities, but legitmate goofs.

After Ronny shoots the cop in the head, he then steals and wears his uniform. There are two problems here. For one thing, the uniform should be a bloody mess, instead of completely clean and pristine. Second, the uniform should be too small and tight on the heavyset Ronny, because the cop originally wearing the uniform is of normal build.

Am I right?
