Amy vs Liz

I wasn't sure about this show at first, I'm already so invested in the Real Housewives and Flipping Out I just didn't know if I could take on another love affair. But as with almost every other show on Bravo, it only took minutes before I was hooked.
I was positive I'd hate Liz. She's pretty, she's "bitchy", she's rich.
She's intolerant of Amy. Pathetic, transparent, hideous Amy. I couldn't even look at her on tv the other night. She looks like an old drunk man. She still hasn't proven that she's not.
"...and I'm not a suck up I just like being nice oh and I really like that top by the way I'm not sucking up I do!" GROANNNNNNN.
I commend Liz for her composure in those moments because I wouldn't have been as nice to SHAMY as she was.
Acting like a meek little mouse dropping off the cupcakes. Is that behavior supposed to earn you respect? I honestly don't know what I hate more, her FACE or her downright embarrassing disposition.
Liz is far from my favorite but I enjoy getting to live vicariously through her snubbing LAMY.

Yeah she's kind of a suck up, but that pained me to watch her walk in as she was getting talked about at the party and art gallery. Maybe if she knew she was getting dogged on so much she would've acted like she didn't care rather than begging for a one on one with Liz. I couldn't stand Amy in the first episodes because she came across as conceited (which I think is a defense mechanism, because she probably has tons of self-esteem issues to be spending all kinds of money on her hair and maintenance). When the Asian girl was saying how she's not a real model because she's too big...sheesh that probably was awkward. I can understand Liz not liking her, because you don't have to like or pretend to like everyone, but like Amy said just be cordial vs. clearly trying to ice someone out. Maybe hearing her harsh advice will make her more aware that her biggest ally is probably Kerry, who she sort of wrote off in the beginning because she wanted to be part of the Upper East Side clique.
