About the 2 NEGATIVE 'user reviews' on this film...

I just looked at both member's past reviews written on other movies and they were both the most critical elderlys I've ever seen waste their time just to complain about every film they commented on, smdh. Personally, I cant see myself coming here to write a w-h-o-l-e user review just for something I found no pleasure in lol. You could see my reviews by hitting on my link below, then hit "expanded" ..or click on the titles & it will go straight to my reviews.

In other words, it's not logical to trust the reviews of ppl who are just right out miserable ;) 24/7 My advice is to watch the film yourself as I'm going to do in a few minutes

Yeah, honestly I'm surprised because this movie just came up in my Netflix queue. My husband and I watched it and both liked it a lot. I even yelled "god damn it!" when sun bin threw himself off the cliff. I loved Xi's dedication to him. That part felt very "Romeo and Juliet" to me.

The movie was really bad imo. I've seen shoestring budget tv series of this time period with better stories, characterisation etc.

They wasted much talent. The beginning of the movie was far too long and the battles far too short.

It failed to show why Tian Xi suddenly fell for Sun Bin. Sun Bin was so retarded as to be unlikeable.

The Duke of Qi is a great actor but wasted.

I don't mind changes to stories but the changes in this added nothing.
