I saw the trailer for it while flipping through an On Demand channel. Loved Tyler Labine in Reaper and Tucker & Dale vs Evil, so I put the movie on.
Wow. Much, much better than I hoped/expected.
Hoping it's promoted a ton in the next few weeks before its theater release. Well worth seeing.

Yeah, from title and reviews this sounded like run-of-the-mill fare - hidden gem - love it!

Agreed OP. I didn't know what to expect as I started watching this film but it had a great story, and was different from what I expected. Really liked it, very good story to this film.

Yup, just all around goodness. Enjoyed it very much even if it was a lot more sad than it was fun.

Agreed, not really a great fan of Justin, but he, along with the rest of the cast surprised me very pleasantly.

And with about 80 minutes of run-time, the element of being just that -a pleasant surprise- is enhanced.

Liked it. Didn't really expect much going in, but was pleasantly surprised by both the story aswell as the acting.

It was a surprisingly fine film. The "Blue Ox Motel" seen several times in the middle of the movie is a block away from my house. It is actually the Forest Motel in Forest Lake, Minnesota.
