Deserved a better title!
Wonderful drama. But the title (when combined with the cast, Long and Tyler) is a little misleading...
shareWonderful drama. But the title (when combined with the cast, Long and Tyler) is a little misleading...
shareDefinitely. The title gives the impression of a more light hearted movie when in reality it was 75% drama (no bad thing!)
shareInitially, it was supposed to be titled "Lumpy" --- which would have been grand, if not a bit square.
shareMy thoughts exactly...I would call it "Ramsey"
shareBased on a title and initial summary i expected something akin to romantic comedies, was pleasantly surprised.

I'm glad I went into it expecting a dumb comedy. More of a surprise that way.
shareYeah with that title I was expecting a low brow comedy, something similar to "Weekend at Bernie's" lol What a relief. This movie was a pleasant surprise.
I think "Lumpy" would have been a great title. Kind of like "Bernie" with Jack Black
This film WAS filmed under the working title "Lumpy".
shareSounded like a war movie!
It's that man again!!
BRILLIANT observation. I am watching it b.c. I searched for Justin Long films on Netflix. Wow... what a story. Wonderful film and a very poor title. What a shame.
You know what they say... no one with missing teeth wears an Armani suit.
That's pretty funny. I've never searched for films by a specific actor. I did however find this film in a similar way, because I was just searching through the comedy section on Netflix when I came across it. The title does definitely make you assume it's a comedy, but finding in the comedy section makes it very surprising once you actually watch it. Netflix seems to have an issue with where things are sectioned. I have to say that the title "Lumpy" doesn't sound much better to me. It also sounds like it would be the name of a goofball comedy. The best I can think of would be something corny like, "Looking back at Lumpy".
shareI totally agree with you. I anticipated mindless comedy, but got a beautiful surprising drama about the life.
